How the wallet works
- Atomic ledger. `recordTransaction()` is race-safe (Postgres advisory lock), append-only, and emits a PostHog event on every mutation.
- Multi-gateway abstraction. Stripe today; Adyen, Paddle, and others can be added without rewrites.
- Drift detector. A nightly cron reconciles `SUM(transactions)` vs `wallet.balance_cents` and alerts on any drift — to the cent.
- Auto top-up. Set a threshold; when the balance dips below it, the configured payment method is charged automatically — no service interruption.
