What we collect
Through the lead form on this site we collect your name, email, community size, and approximate monthly revenue so we can route your application to the right plan. We also keep standard server logs (IP address, user agent, referrer) and product-analytics events from the pages you visit. We never collect payment information on this marketing site — billing happens inside the platform once you become a customer.
Why we collect it
Three reasons: to qualify your application against our current launch capacity, to route you to the right plan and Power Partner lineup, and to email you back. We also use anonymised analytics to understand which pages are useful and which aren't — so we can improve the site. We don't use your information to train AI models, sell to third parties, or build advertising audiences.
Where it lives
Your application data is stored encrypted at rest in PostgreSQL on DigitalOcean's US region, behind Cloudflare WAF and DDoS protection. Access is gated by per-role RBAC; only the platform team and the assigned reviewer can see your application. Server logs are retained for 30 days for security and operations; product-analytics events are retained per the analytics vendor's standard window.
Who we share with
We use a small, deliberate set of vendors: Resend for transactional email, PostHog for product analytics (anonymised — no email or full name in event payloads), Stripe for payments only when you become a customer, and Sentry for error tracking with PII redaction. We sign a data-processing agreement with every vendor and verify their sub-processor list before we send them anything.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, export it in a machine-readable format, correct it, or have it deleted. Email privacy@owlsroost.ai and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're an EU or UK resident exercising rights under GDPR or UK GDPR, mention that in your message and we'll fast-track the verification step.
